Wholeness with Horses Foundation Wholeness With Horses Foundation was formed by Ian for the more formal duties of therapeutic mental health. This is where a therapist and an equine professional work as a team in a very client focused version of Humanship. Specialising in Equine Assisted Psychology (EAP), Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) for personal and professional development. North River Horse & Humanship Centre
Originally North River Treks the horse trekking business I established In 1992. This is where it all began for me. Now Anke and I are developing the property into place of learning and teaching. Regular Humanship workshops, Equine Assisted Therapies and of course the access to all the beautiful trails around the North River area. A place for you or you and your horse to retreat. Another facility where the magic of the horse in healing humans is apparent on a daily basis. Relies on community support and volunteer help and a whole lot of commitment, love and passion. I volunteer my services to this worthy organisation to do my little bit for the community.
Norway
Synnøve Bakke - Norwegian Humanship Associate I have known Synnøve for the last 7 years. She was my first working student and has returned to North River on 2 other occasions for training and work experience. She has undergone over 10 months of full time training with me in the Humanship model of horsemanship training. As well as following up with Humanship clients in Norway, Synnøve specialises in animal communication and is a certified equine specialist with EAGALA.

Germany
Nadja has been a working student of mine here in New Zealand. She is an extremely talented woman with a lot of intuitive insight into the horse human relationship. Germany's only endorsed Humanship facilitator. Heike Eifler along with her father had a vision for their farm in 2008. One of creating a horse centre with a focus on the horse human relationship. Since then they have build a state of the art active stable and riding hall. Great facility to both work and play with your horse. An amazing place with amazing relationships happening all around between horses and people. Definitely both a pleasure and a privilege to offer workshops and individual trainings there. In German, but the pictures are work many words. Siesshof EglingenA classical dressage yard, with the focus on relationship to the horse and lightness in the partnership. Matthias and Dagmar are extremely passionate about what they are creating and are searching the world for the little things that make a big difference for their horses and there teaching. I was fortunate enough to spend some time with Tina in northern Germany and in Northern Italy. Her passion and her ability with horses is great. Works a lot with fearful riders from all over Germany. Works with acupuncture on horses as well. Again if you can't speak German, the pictures will speak volumes. The lessons of life and horsemanship and life are everywhere. In this case art. Dagmar paintings capture the essence and the spirit between horses and humans. Who needs English words with pictures like these. Alice is a young woman with a huge amount of passion for horses. She has started her own business supplying suitable tools for use when playing with horses. She is also my contact person and organiser for workshops and individual sessions in Germany and Switzerland. Rika Schneider actively and tirelessly promotes horsemanship trainers and trainings within Germany, raising awareness of other, more effective ways of working with horses. The Schanz family have created a horse habitat heaven. A more natural way of keeping horses on a small area of land. An open stall stable that works with the natural needs of the horse, movement, shelter and socialisation. All the supplied feeds and those grown by themselves are 100% organic. Worth a visit if you are looking for a place for your horse or wanting to create something like this for yourself.
